Mixing kits for underfloor heating and radiant system control
IVAR mixing kits provide temperature regulation, mixing and circulation for underfloor heating and other radiant systems. The range includes preconfigured kits with Grundfos or Wilo pumps, together with UNIMIX and COMBIMIX solutions for different system layouts and control requirements.
Mixing Kits Products
IVAR mixing kits for radiant heating systems
IVAR mixing kits are designed to regulate water temperature and circulation within underfloor heating and other radiant systems. The range includes complete pump and mixing assemblies as well as modular solutions that can be configured around different system layouts and control requirements.
Options include preconfigured mixing kits with Grundfos pumps, the compact UNIMIX range, COMBIMIX mixing and pump units and the UF 01W single-circuit control pack.
Choosing an IVAR mixing kit
Preconfigured UFH mixing kits
IVAR’s preconfigured underfloor heating mixing kits combine a Grundfos pump with thermostatic temperature control. Versions are available with 20°C to 60°C or 30°C to 55°C thermostatic heads, with optional isolation ball valves.
UNIMIX
UNIMIX provides mixing, circulation and flow-temperature management for radiant circuits using a three-way mixing valve. The system can be configured for fixed-point or weather-compensated control and integrated with IVAR distribution manifolds.
COMBIMIX
COMBIMIX is a compact mixing and pump unit for radiant systems. Flow temperature is controlled using a two-way injection valve, with options for fixed-point thermostatic regulation or weather-compensated control.
Underfloor heating mixing kits with Grundfos pump
For straightforward underfloor heating installations, IVAR offers ready-configured mixing kits with Grundfos circulation pumps and different thermostatic temperature ranges.
30°C to 55°C Mixing Kit
Mixing kit with Grundfos pump and 30°C to 55°C thermostatic head. Product code 500897A1.
20°C to 60°C Mixing Kit
Mixing kit with Grundfos pump and wider-range 20°C to 60°C thermostatic head. Product code 500897B1.
Versions with ball valves
The same 30°C to 55°C and 20°C to 60°C configurations are also available with isolation ball valves for easier system connection and maintenance.
UNIMIX mixing and circulation units
UNIMIX is designed to adjust water from the heat generator to a temperature suitable for distribution through radiant heating circuits. Mixing takes place through a three-way valve, with circulation and flow-temperature monitoring integrated into the system.
A primary bypass supports generator recirculation and balancing, while a secondary bypass helps improve mixing control and increase flow through the radiant circuit. UNIMIX can also be integrated with distribution manifolds and a direct high-temperature circuit where required by the system design.
UNIMIX without pump
Core UNIMIX mixing assembly supplied without circulation pump. Product code 500438UK.
UNIMIX with thermostatic head
UNIMIX kit without pump supplied with a 20°C to 60°C thermostatic head. Product code 500438UKB.
Heating and cooling applications
IVAR specifies UNIMIX-C for fixed-point or weather-compensated regulation. With the appropriate insulation, the system can also be used in radiant heating and cooling applications.
COMBIMIX and single-circuit mixing solutions
COMBIMIX
A compact mixing and pump-unit platform for radiant systems. COMBIMIX uses a two-way control valve to regulate the quantity of heating or cooling fluid introduced into the mixing circuit.
UF 01W Single Circuit Control Pack
A compact mixing and distribution unit for a single radiant circuit, supplied with a Wilo pump and thermostatic temperature control.
Mixed-temperature systems
UNIMIX and COMBIMIX can be integrated with suitable IVAR manifold arrangements where radiant circuits need to operate alongside higher-temperature heating emitters such as radiators or towel rails.
Underfloor heating mixing kit FAQs
What does an underfloor heating mixing kit do?
A mixing kit regulates the temperature of water supplied to an underfloor heating or radiant circuit and provides the circulation required to move the mixed water through the system.
What is the difference between UNIMIX and COMBIMIX?
Both are IVAR mixing solutions for radiant systems, but they use different mixing arrangements. UNIMIX uses a three-way mixing valve, while COMBIMIX uses a two-way injection control valve to regulate the fluid entering the mixing circuit.
Which thermostatic temperature ranges are available?
The preconfigured IVAR mixing kits shown above are available with either 30°C to 55°C or 20°C to 60°C thermostatic heads, with versions available both with and without isolation ball valves.
Does IVAR offer a mixing kit for a single radiant circuit?
Yes. The UF 01W is a compact mixing and distribution unit designed for a single radiant circuit and includes a Wilo circulation pump.
